Guest lecture by Pascal Kaiser in January 2026
In the last week of January, three speakers from industry supplemented the lectures on Material Flow Analysis/Materialflussrechnung (MFR) and Order Picking Systems/Kommissioniersysteme (KoSy) with insights into practical applications and individual experiences.

Pascal Kaiser, Johannes Dregger, and Felix Feldmann were guests in the Logistics Campus lecture hall for the lectures on Material Flow Analysis (MFR) on January 26 and Order Picking Systems (KoSy) on January 29. All three have in common that they earned their doctorates at the FLW Chair at TU Dortmund University and have gained experience in industry and commerce. Pascal presented Material Flow Analysis from the perspective of a logistics planning company. He used practical examples to describe and explain the company's factory, logistics, and general planning, procedures in planning and implementation projects, testing and acceptance routines, and insights into implementation. Felix, on the other hand, works for a Norwegian company in the field of warehouse technology and provided the audience with many facts and background information on a now well-known fully automated warehouse technology system that has established itself on the market. Johannes then talked about the everyday logistics of a famous drugstore company and drew attention to many details that have a positive effect on cooperation within the company. – We are already looking forward to the next guest lectures with them.
