Our fellow Christoph Pott visited Europe’s biggest conference for sport management, the 30th EASM 2022 in Innsbruck, Austria, which took place in the beginning of september. He gave a talk on “Logistics in Sport Organizations” which was part of the session “New, broader, and critical aspects in sport management”, bringing the engineering perspective to the stage.
The research project operates at the interface between logistics and sport science and investigates on the provision of sport equipment to athletes and events. For the project, TU Dortmund University cooperates with the Institute of Economics and Sport Management at German Sport University Cologne.
